RHETORICAL QUESTIONS_ WHY??
Why do so many people slow down before a Green light and go speeding through Red ones??
Why do so many newer cars have turn signals that do not work??
Why do people getting on the freeway go so slowly until they are on the freeway before speeding up?? And why do so many people slow down on the freeway before an exit before getting off??
Why do so many drivers get into the fast lane and stay there even though cars are constantly passing them on the right?? “Slower traffic keep right”, this means you!
Why does the traffic in the fast lane go slower than the traffic in the slow lane??
Why do drivers going to make a right turn sit at red lights and as soon as the cross traffic gets a green light, they turn in front of them??

When you are getting on that freeway going 45 miles per hour and the traffic on the freeway is traveling at 65 to 70 miles per hour.
Remember you are not alone!
And making the cars on the freeway slow down so you can get on at that speed just is not cool. Then going directly to the faster lanes and refusing to flow with the traffic is not cool either. When you pass those signs on the road that say "Slower traffic keep right" remember this means you, especially when traffic is passing you on the right and proceeding. When I look in the rear view mirror and see cars that want to go faster than I am willing to go, no matter what my speed is I try to pull right as soon as I can.
Remember you are not alone!
When getting off the freeway and the ramp is clear don't slow the freeway traffic down to 45 - 50 miles per hour for a half a mils so you can get off.

Don't be an idiot and keep changing lanes back and forth as you fly through traffic, you don't get there any sooner, I see you at the red light two cars in front of me as we both get off the road. And I saw you pass a semi the other day on the shoulder and then got stuck behind other slow traffic for the next 5 miles.

Then this last week driving on a mountain road you rode breaks at every turn and never exceeded 50 miles per hour on the road clearly marked 55 miles per hour and passed every turn out when in fact there were at least 10 to 15 cars behind you and the solid double yellow markings prohibited us passing you for some 20 miles. Oh one motorcycle did pass illegally, but the rest impatiently waited it out. Then there was a passing zone where two motorcycles and I passed you, where you sped up and I had to go 80 miles per hour to get past. Then after a minute or so returning to the posted speed I could no longer see you in the rear view mirror, you returned to your old game.

A picture of my family from a not so happy day, this was taken when my dad died and was the last time all ten of us kids were together with mom (center standing).
This weekend she will celebrate her 80th and what makes that even more remarkable is all he children are all at least and the oldest of us are/or about 60. My youngest brother on his knees is nearly 50. That is a lot of years between us all.
